Return to done in six months...
Here's a picture of the front of the house - taken in a wintry February, the day we submitted our bid. Across the street is a small urban park (the size of a city block) and you can see the leafless trees reflected in the front windows. The stoop had turned a slight shade of green from algae, which brightened in color over the summer. Three months after moving in, it was powerwashed, repaired, and sealed, and is now ready for our first winter here.
The front windows will be replaced this fall with historically correct wood framed Marvin windows. We hope to do the back exterior windows next year.
Details of the front door and molding. We are planning on keeping the front door, but will redo the interior doors and tiled entryway.
