Carson's baby set
This is a gift for Carson, daughter #2 who was born to our friends in London on July 23, 2004.
Knitted in my now-favorite yarn of Schoeller Stahl Morea (bought online at elann.com!) in Vintage Orchid color. It's 51% merino wool and 49% microfiber, hand washable. The hat and summer slippers were knitted on size 2 needles, while the winter booties (high-top roll ones) are knitted on size 5 needles. Patterns for the booties are from the book Simple Knits for Cherished Babies, and I just made up a simple roll-brim hat.
