Pumpkin Hat
Knit using Cascade 220 Superwash (orange) and Cascade 220 regular (brown) on size 8 needles, following the pumpkin hat pattern that I bought from Little Turtle Knits. The first time I knit this, the pattern for the top looked bad, so I cut off the top and reknit it on the way to the baby shower.
This is for baby R in lieu of the R blanket. Baby R (sex will be a surprise!) is due on October 31, 2004 - thus the nickname Mr. and Mrs. R have given their "pumpkin". It's a more gentle nickname than "goblin" or "ghoul". :)
