I decided that I hate the way the pumpkin hat turned out on the top, so I'm going to cut off the brown part and reknit it starting from the first round of decreases. The baby shower is this weekend (Sunday) so I have to get this fixed and start on those booties soon. I'll have at least 4 hours of knitting time in the train tomorrow on the way down to DC, so that should be enough for the booties and maybe some time on my scarf.
I sure hope that my friend (the soon-to-be-mom) likes the present!
