Here's a pic of the fair isle flowered baby cardigan - still haven't started on the sleeves, but at least the front and back are done:
Tomorrow I will be meeting up in the morning with Vicki, Ann, and Cara for a couple hours as that fabulous knitorious blogger is in town and we have a chance to meet in person. Since I will have two electricians, a/c guys, and a carpenter working on the house tomorrow I can't be gone all day, but am sure the contractors will manage fine for a few hours on their own while I sneak in some yarn crawling in Manhattan. I'm quite excited about visiting a button store to find something to work with the above cardigan - and that ribby wrap soaker, too.
Speaking of baby stuff - here's my first belly pic that Dave snapped this morning before work. I'm 17 weeks along today, and I suppose that there is something of a baby belly that's starting to pop out?

We find out the sex on July 12th. Who wants to bet that since I knitted up a flowery cardigan it will be a boy?? :)
I can't be bothered with anything recently. I haven't been up to anything. I don't care. I haven't gotten much done lately. Not that it matters.

I've basically been doing nothing to speak of. Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. I feel like a void, but that's how it is. I've just been hanging out doing nothing.

Pretty much nothing notable happening. My mind is like a complete blank. I've just been hanging out waiting for something to happen. Not much on my mind to speak of. I just don't have anything to say. That's how it is.

I LOVE the belly pic. And the sweater looks marvelous.

Oh my God -- that was supposed to say "you AND Kate Gilbert"!!! Please forgive my insane typo. You've probably been thinking, "What the hell got into Anne?!?"

I actually think that cardigan would look great on a little baby boy....the color is gender neutral .

you look great...love the baby cardigan..

I agree with Cara--you look skinny! Of course, I think you're having a boy, but I've learning never to contradict the expectant mother. If you knitted a carnigan for a girl, then you're going to have one!

About the belly - it was bigger all around pre-baby. I keep losing weight for some odd reason, and it's repositioned itself in my boobs (no complaints here!). Hopefully I will gain some next week while on vacation, otherwise I fear my OB's wrath at my next appointment. :) Thanks for the sweet comments!

I second that -- why is it everybody's baby belly (OK, you ate Kate Gilbert) is so much more slender than my regular belly? :)

Your belly looks WONDERFUL! (But man, you're skinny!) The cardi looks terrific - but really - the FLOORS look SPECTACULAR! ;-)
See you tomorrow - we'll have fun.
